The Dalton Organization of Churches United for People is a non-discriminatory, non-profit organization of churches centered on meeting the needs of residents in Dalton and Whitfield County who face temporary financial crisis situations. Financial assistance may be provided to individuals and families requesting help with the following:

DOC-UP realizes that financial crises arise from problems of a deeper nature. We desire to uncover the root issue of the presenting symptoms and assist in eradicating the actual problem. This assistance will support clients’ efforts to regain self-sufficiency and may include budget counseling, referrals to other helping agencies, and informal personal counseling in addition to immediate financial aid from DOC-UP. Each client should leave DOC-UP with the sense of God’s plans to give him/her a future and a hope.
